I had this, this morning it looked like period blood. I had no pain prior to this, currently no pain.
I’ve already been to see the midwife and they said this is a show. Baby is all good and moving around but I was initially concerned as that was a lot for a show. Wondering if any other people have had something similar? How soon after this does labour start? I’m 40+3 weeks pregnant

Hi ladies,
So I had 2 positive pregnancy tests this weekend (clear blue 1-2) I was experiencing light discharge type bleeding when wiping before this which I imagine was implantation bleeding, very similar to what I had with my now 3 year old. Yesterday and this morning the bleeding has notched up, now dripping and very fresh red blood. Mainly when going to the toilet but a few spots on a pad. I’m not silly and know this doesn’t seem great ☹️ I’ve rung the early pregnancy unit this morning and other than “we consider heavy bleeding soaking through a pad every half hour, see how it goes” she wasn’t overly helpful. I appreciate at this early stage there isn’t an awful lot I can do but has anyone else experienced anything like this ?
I haven’t yet done the referral, as if the bleeding is what I think it is, it seems daft to refer myself.
Thank you all.

I'm 41+1 and booked for an induction tomorrow. I've already had a sweep, 5 days ago.
The past couple of days I've had an increase in pressure down there and definitely more twinges / worse crotch pains. I also lost my mucus plug yesterday.
I'm now wondering if I should try and postpone my induction by a couple of days to see if this is the start of something trying to happen on its own.
This is my first baby and it's a low risk pregnancy.
What would you do? X

Hay! I’m 37weeks today and my poor girly down there is so swollen and painful the last couple days. Has anyone else experienced this? I think it’s lightning crotch but not sure. I’m also feeling so much pressure down there I think little one is getting ready.

I am debating booking in for an elective c section for various reasons. I’m currently 35+5 and have my 36w appt at 36+5 when I need to let the midwife know (we have previously spoken about this)
I wondered if anyone else has booked in, when they have been booked in for? What week / day etc? I know they say from 39 weeks but is this 39 weeks on the dot, or + how many days? I would be 39 weeks on a Thursday, and I know they don’t book electives over the weekend so wonder if it’ll be after the weekend.
