Has any dropped the third nap yet? Have you found it's improved sleep at night?
My LG is 8m next week and has only had two naps today because she got up later than normal. So far she's sleeping a little better than normal but could be a fluke.
When do you know it's time?

Following as same. We’ve done a day of two naps due to wake windows being longer but sleep wasn’t amazing, not awful but not the usual. But I know eating and development can also be a factor. X

We’re mostly down to 2 naps bar the odd day where naps are super short. I’d say to begin with she was more unsettled at night, probably a bit overtired with adjusting to the longer wake windows as we couldn’t fit a 3rd nap in anymore but has improved now she’s more comfortable and adjusted to being awake longer xx
Ive read into various blogs/sleep instas etc and other than the frequent night wakings, she doesn't fall into the typical category.
Her first two naps are always around 30mins mark , she never really struggles with the afternoon nap - I've often had to wake her at two hours sometimes!
If it goes well tonight, it might be a sign she's ready. I was lucky, she dropped her fourth nap quite naturally but this one seems trickier. She doesn't seem to struggle too much with a four hour wake window at times either but I always put it down to her fomo 😂

Weve just dropped the third nap as she was fighting bedtime and the third nap. We still have a fight atm (never had one before) but I think its sleep regression / new skill related as she wants to stand up and then has been wakijg in the night and not self settling like she did previously

Mine has seemed to drop his naturally over last few days. One day he went from 2.5 wake windows and 3 naps to longer wake windows and 2 naps overnight. In regards to improving sleep, he doesn’t sleep well at all so nothing improves our sleep as every night is terrible any way lol xx
in some ways I am relieved that I'm not the only one with a rubbish sleeper 😂but disappointed to hear it makes no difference! She's asleep in my arms now, woke up after a three hour stint which is good for her! Won't stay in her cot asleep now though..

It may make a difference for you but for me no matter what I do nothings helps. However if your baby has slept well previously it may be different for you whereas my boy has never slept longer than 6 hours and usually only does 2 hour stints since birth! Xxxx

We're down to 2 naps, but night sleep hasn't improved 😕

My LG dropped the 3rd nap herself and sleeps around 13 hours at night time. Her last wake window is around 3-3.5 hours though, sometimes 4 hours, which helped
my girl is very similar. We've had a few rare occasions where she's slept for a long time (5+ hrs) but themost consistent sleep was 3hrs for formula feeds.
She sleeps in my arms and next to us but will not do it in her cot.
Two naps again today and she's spent all of 30mins in her cot. I'm now holding her whilst she sleeps ..., 🫣
can you share you schedule for the day? I'm still playing around with feeding times and wake ups etc

Sure. It took some playing around but this is what works for our little girl.
8am - wake up
8:15 - milk
9:15 - breakfast
10:15 till 11:30 - first nap
12:00 - milk
14:00 - 15:30 - second nap
15:30 - milk
17:00 - tea time
18:00 - bath
18:30 - milk
7pm -bed & sleep ☺️
I’ll add lunch in eventually at around 1/1:30 x
Two nap transition is a bit bonkers but yet another wave to ride 😂
