How many sheets is everyone buying? I’ve got 4 for the next to me crib, 2 for Moses basket, 2 for pram carrycot, 2 for Cotbed (which I know I won’t need for a while). Is that about right?

I'd think that's plenty. I've only got 4 for the next to me plus three mattress protectors, and 2 sheets+protectors for our pram carrycot which will also be her downstairs nap place. I figured we will be doing washing very often anyway and can buy more online if needs be.

You need sheets for the pram carrycot!? This hadn't even occurred to me so glad I read this post!

blowouts can happen anywhere I'm afraid 😅 especially if you plan on selling/regifting the pram once you've used it. I just got a couple of moses basket sheets and protectors and they fit fine. Also was advised to set up two sets layered on both crib and carrycot to make it easier if you have a blow out either during the night or while you're out and about! Always a spare set ready underneath! 😊

I don’t think it’s a necessity but it was recommended as a top tip. I’m getting apses basket protector to go underneath too but finding the right size is a nightmare

I've also seen that putting puppy pass over the mattress and under the sheet is great for leakage

You’ll also need waterproof mattress protectors for everything to go under the sheets (and this is also part of safe sleeping guidance too)

We've got 4 for the next to me and 4 for the moses basket

yes I’ve got all the waterproof protectors too, I’ve got 2 for the next to me so I can layer, it feels never ending 🙈
