So my daughter when she's tired she fights her sleep we try everything putting her in a comfortable position we walk and sleep her we try the binkie even try sleep medicine and sleep music rocking her nothing works she show signs she's sleepy and she gets really cranky any help would be needed for this situation

7 months old she is teething we do give her medicine for it

I rub my thumb inbetween my daughter’s eyes softly while I rock her, they naturally want to shut their eyes. If her eyes are closed she was be more likely to fall asleep! I hope that helps

Shushing helps a lot for my baby when she gets too cranky to fall asleep, the shhh sound soothes her after a while

My baby found the Moshi app to be soothing. There’s short stories and lullabies. It’s Very relaxing.

@Cheyenne my daughter has a white noise device that helps her sleep through the night. It turns itself back on when it hears noise, and it helps her to self settle most of the time.

I too have a 7 month old baby girl. This puts her down while I walk and bounce her. Baby origel works when they're teething as well.

@Cheyenne putting something cold on her gums will help too if it's a teething issue. You can put her pacifier in the freezer then give it to her for her gums.

thank you I do enjoy the moments I have for her but I can't lie I do get tired sometimes and I have a chronic hip pain and if I stand after 30 minutes It feels like an epidural is being put in that one spot in my hip but this pain is like a 10 and after so long my hip locks and someone has literally physically pick me up and sit me down to a market like I'll stand there and not pain and I won't be able to move the more I stand the more it gets worse

@Cheyenne It is ok to feel tired, irritated, angry, and over it. Honor yourself and your physical pain. Instesd of bouncing while standing up maybe u can bounce while sitting on your bed. (Which I know you've probably already been doing.)

When I had chronic back pain tried literally everything and nothing worked but blue lotus flowers. I just poured boiling hot water over them to make a tea. No sugar. Sip it or down it but I definitely got right to the pain. Biofreeze helps too. If u have any Asian markets or pharmacies by you they should have the blue lotus flowers as well as herb shops.
Baths help as well as stretching regularly.
Give yourself grace and love. This shit ain't easy, especially with any kind of pain.

Screeching baby

I have twin boys, 5months.

One is very quiet

The other... is like a pterodactyl who screeches when bored, tired, hungry, as soon as he wake up to be held etc...
This habit has only just started!

Has anyone else experienced this and how long did it last?
So far it has been about 5 days 😭😭😭😭

Circumcision, please help

I know it can be a really sensitive topic, but I feel really underinformed about whether I should choose to circumcise or not if we end up having a boy.
For context: we are very non-religious, but I worry about the stigma of being non-circumcised when he would start to get interested in dating, navigating cleaning it and the risk of infection especially as he gets older and navigating potty training at daycare and stuff. I also worry about the increased risk of penile cancer. But then I also hate the thought of making my baby go through a major surgery unnecessarily and would prefer for them to make the choice when they are older if they choose to get circumcised.

How did you make your choice? Does anyone regret their choice?

Joie Signature Parcel LX lightweight stroller

Has anyone got this stroller? Up until now we have used our mamas and papas ocarro and we love it. However we are going on holiday in June and looking at a lightweight stroller to take with us. I'm not bothered if it fits in overheard locker, I would rather have decent wheels on the stroller and this one does have slightly bigger wheels than most travel strollers we have seen. Has anyone used this stroller abroad or got any other recommendations? TIA x
