baby’s breathing

I have been told baby’s breathing can be very fast while sleeping but don’t take my word for it x

Newborns breathing is very irregular. She is probably in active sleep while doing this! I’d say it’s normal x

Seems normal. Babies don’t breathe like adults yet. They also have faster heartbeats. If baby has trouble breathing you usually see their nostrils flare and drastic in and out of their belly, so much that you can see their ribs. like they’re literally trying to suck in more oxygen. Trust your instincts. You will know deep in your core that something is wrong - if it ever is.

My baby still sounds like that sometimes

I remember my little girl sounding like that and it used to worry me. I was reassured by the health visitor that it was normal. But if your worried it’s always worth just double checking x

You should go get her check for her breathing. She may need a breathing inhaler. It sounds like she’s wheezing.
