Does anyone pay attention to ‘leaps’? I have seen the wonder weeks app recommended and it tells you when to expect your little one’s leaps and explains their behaviour around that time…
Saying that, not sure if I want to follow them or not. Our 4 week old girl has maybe become a little more unsettled in the day this week.. but just more taking notice of surroundings, fighting daytime naps a bit more, a little grizzly when she’s awake!
She’s only 4 weeks so I’m not trying to stress as I’m sure (/hoping) this behaviour is normal.
Just interested in hearing if your 4 week old seemed to go through some change and also whether you followed leaps?

My baby was 4 weeks yesterday and he’s exactly as you’ve described - a little more fussy, fighting daytime naps etc. I do have the app and follow the leaps but I try not to fixate on them too much. I also have a 2.5 year old and followed the leaps with him too. I find the app useful as it explains what they’re going through in each leap and shows you ways to help them and activities you can do with them that they’ll find interesting x
that’s really helpful thank you! the good news is that witching hour seems to have disappeared tonight in favour for a fussy day! poor baby can’t win 😂

It is based on due date rather than birth date, my baby was 2 weeks early so not expected to start for another couple weeks but she’s definitely started showing signs (she’s a month old).
