Guys my bd/bf and i have been together for 3 years i made a post here before complaining including his cheating and gambling habits, I want to be together and to stay as a family. Yet tonight we have a date we’re sending our son to stay with his grandma for the night and we’re going on our first date in almost 4-5 months i think? The point is ive begged for a date and now its finally happening except i have to plan it all. He cant be bothered to plan our date night, and we got into a fight this morning about his lack of effort and how all these other women i see get flowers and balloons and chocolates when their bfs ask to be their valentine. So he last minute started scrambling today to get all that stuff even though i told him not to. It just sucks that he doesnt do these things until i complain about it. I want him to surprise me spoil me and love me without me forcing him to i want him to do those things because HE wants to do them. Instead i just feel underwhelmed its exactly what i asked for but theres no deeper meaning theres no love and passion behind it. Its just “you sent me 4000 tiktoks and fought with me about this so here now stfu.” Am I too much for complaining? i mean i’ll never turn away his gifts or make a mean ugly face or anything like that but inside it just doesnt feel special.
