Are there any women that have had a baby in their mid-thirties or older? Please could you give some advice on how to increase fertility and chances of getting pregnant and any advice on how to have a healthy pregnancy for this age range? I am nervous about it being more difficult to conceive as I get older but want to start trying soon inshAllah

I had my first baby girl at 35. Not my choice. I had infertility issues. We went the egg donor route and I am so glad I did! The best decision ever! Just make sure to get checked and see how your eggs are.

At 35 I tried for a baby and was pregnant right away. I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks (so wasn’t even pregnant long) and then I didn’t try a couple months (pull out method) and ended up pregnant immediately.
Everybody is different though and you can test your cycles and hormones. For me my cycles have always be consistent and predictable. I’ve probably missed a period 1-2x my entire life and the timing of cycles always been standard.
My sister just had a baby at 40 without any assistance also.
Inshallah it will go smooth for you.

Try to track your ovulation with ovulation strips (premom does good ones, cheap & reliable on Amazon) & consult your GP. 35+ they usually offer to refer you to a fertility specialist. Other than that I’d say make a or of adhkaar, ensure your health is good, try to rule out things like thyroid issues or anything hormone related & try to have a relatively good and healthy diet. Wishing you all the best sis x

It's advisable to start taking vitamins 3-6 months prior to preparing your body for a healthy pregnancy. Focus on nourishing you and your partner with multivitamins, vitamin D, and omega-3. Incorporating walks into your routine increases blood flow to the uterus. Do lots of istighfar, make dua regularly and leave the rest to Allah. Stay positive and try to minimise stress. Many people conceive successfully later in life with no issues. If conception hasn't occurred within 6 months, consult your GP. Also, keep in mind that it takes two to conceive. Your partner should take care of himself during this time as well, as fertility issues aren't solely attributed to women. May Allah make it easy for you and grant you what your heart desires ❤️
@Yasmeen that is interesting I don't know much about this route, I will read up on it :)

Theres a dua for men to pray to increase their semen quality - PM me and i can find and share.
Give to chairty
Look into preconception multi vits
COQ10 for you both
Inositol (again check this is ok for you to consume)
Bring bone broth & drink pomegranate juice.
Intercourse ever 2 or 3 days is reccomended by consultants and also use a lube that is semen friendly like preseed.
I just turned 38 and expecting no2 in May in sha Allah. I also have a daughter who just turned 2.
IF you dont get preg soon then tell GP youve been trying for 2yrs plus or they wont refer you for tests at the fertility clinic.
PM me if you want to know more about GP referral etc

Have you actually.had issues conceiving prior? Apologies if it's a rude question but I couldn't tell from your post if you're worried just because of age or previous difficulties...
I had my first at 35, just missed my pills for one cycle and that was it. Then I got pregnant again 8 months pp with twins at 36! Age isn't always a problem.
Wishing you lots of ttc success and wishes x

I would say to any married, stable couple, don't delay in "trying" because you never know how long "trying" can take. People struggle with their first, people struggle with their second after having their first within one attempt. You just never know. If you are in a happy, loving marriage and you are both ready mentally for that positive test, start immediately because it can only ever bring barakah and happiness.
