First night in crib
My girl is spending her first night in her crib in her own room. I am so sad. And anxious. She has the owlet on her foot and a camera in there but being able to actually hear her little breaths helps me at night. She’s getting too big for her bassinet and often is smushed against the side or trying to turn sideways so it’s definitely time 😭

We switched to a pack n play in our room for the time in between bassinet and crib/own room. The American Pediatric Association recommends babies stay in the same room as parents for the first 6 months to reduce SIDS risk so that’s what we are doing!
I told myself I was going to start crib tonight due to her rolling back to stomach for the first time last night, couldn’t do it got so sick to my stomach
unfortunately the pack n play won’t fit in our room. The bassinet barely did. 😥
I know. She slept from 9:30-5 in there last night! But I woke up every hour to check the camera and her owlet stats
We put an air mattress in her room (because she sleeps in the crib) and we take turns to sleep with her. We plan to do so until she is 6 months old. .

How did it go?
it went well! She slept from 10-5:30 the first night and then had a bottle and back to sleep till 8am!
