6 month post section pouch?

How is your 6 m pouch now? Have you been able to improve it at all? I am really conscious of mine, the rest of my body has gone back to before apart from this so I’d give anything a go to get it improved 🤞🏼

I had a c section almost 10 months ago, and I am disappointed to say that my pouch looks horrible. Just curious, are you doing any exercises?

I still have my pouch 13 months on 🙃 it definitely gets less though as the baby weight starts to slowly come off xx

Apparently it’s a lot to do with diastasis recti, and since we all then went through c section which weakens the ab muscles even more along side pregnancy, it then leaves you with a belly pouch. Abs separate for pregnancy, and struggle to go back anyway, add c section on top of that, leaves you with an over hang pouch, that’s what I’m going with anyway. I’ve been doing what I can diastasis recti workout wise and I have seen a big improvement, and if my core is engaged then my pouch is gone as I can feel my abs are pulled back in when I do that. But I also know it takes months/years to fix diastasis recti.

Thanks all for your messages… makes me realise I’m not alone here. The only exercise I’ve done so far is walking, and the daily baby bouncing, carrying, playing etc… I swear I should be a size 8 🤣

My pouch kind of goes from my belly button to my scar, is yours the same? The rest of me is back to normal and I’m probably lighter than I was pre baby but I think it’s from breastfeeding, I’ve eaten like a pig! So it’s not from anything I’ve done 😆 I’m thinking of going back to exercising this week. I would say I’m more jiggly and squishy all over though than before. The pouch is my biggest insecurity though.

Have any of you tried the C-section massages? I may try this too 🤞🏼

Oh breastfeeding makes me want to
Inhale every bit of food I see. But I agree, I am pretty much pre pregnancy just with a mum pouch now 🤣 it to is my biggest insecurity. It’s squishy and wobbly and looks as wrinkly as an elephants balls 😭

I have found baby carrier walking helps. It’s hard to get a good workout with a baby but carrier walking is as good as weighted walking and is great for core, mind and both you and baby! Me and my little one try to do a weighted walk everyday, it also helps her go down for her last nap of the day, and she then sleeps longer. She now also uses it as the perfect time to practice her talking, she loves to shout at the trees and everyone looks at us and giggles. As you get stronger with the weighed walking your weight (baby) will also become heavier.

I struggle to get a good workout in, but I don’t feel as bad if I know I’ve done 5000 or more steps with 17 pounds strapped to me.

I'm 5 months post & still have numbness & discomfort in my little belly pouch 🫣 it feels so disconnected from the rest of my body - I can't exercise doing anything for it!
