Are second babies as big or bigger than first?

Im pregnant with my second baby (a girl) and my first baby (a boy) was 9lb2 born via emergency c section. I really want a VBAC with this baby because i desperately don’t want to go through the c section recovery again 😣 but im also terrified of pushing out a 9 pounder or bigger! What are the chances of my baby girl being born same size or bigger than my son? Has anyone had a smaller baby second time around?

I’m expecting my second baby. First was 6lb 11.5oz at birth, born via emergency c section. This time round I’ve got my heart set on having a natural birth (VBAC). But have been told to expect a small baby this time, that’s going by first scan. 🤦‍♀️ but they said the same with my first, thought I’d have a small baby, although my first fit in tiny baby clothes for 6-10weeks as newborn and 0-3 sizes where massive on her. But she was small for her weight, but very strong with muscle.

Bless her, im hoping for a 6lb baby this time round but one can only dream 😅 i might just be someone who has bigger babies but i really hope not 😮‍💨

My first was 8.8 and my second was 8.7 😂 I was expecting bigger, I felt huge but she was the same near enough

My first was 7lbs 8oz. I’m carrying small with this baby due in April. I think he will be smaller

My first was an emergency c-section and 9lb 3oz and my second was 10lb 4oz and became another emergency c-section rather than planned as I went into labour three weeks early. Imagine if he’d had more time to grow!
