Sweep
Hi, I’m currently 38 weeks. My midwife has booked my first sweep in for next week. This is my forth baby and I was wondering if it has worked for anyone? I have a second sweep booked In for the following week Incase the first doesn’t work. Then they have said they will look at inducing me at 42 weeks. I’ve been induced with all three of my children and this time I’m hoping to avoid being induced.
I’m currently expressing colostrum as I’ve been told that can help with spontaneous labour. I’m walking a lot, drinking raspberry leaf tea. Is they anything else anyone is doing?

Sweeps aren’t guaranteed to work at all, but instead of hand expressing have you tried full on pumping with a pump? Ive heard women have success with doing that a couple of times daily xx
It had a sweep done on Wednesday morning and started regularly contracting in the evening, went to get checked and was told I was 1cm still so they done a third sweep there and there, went into labour 30 minutes after but was in labour for over 20 hours 😫
