Movements 36+6 no movement for neally 2 hours

Baby was going crazy this morning for like 20 mins then literally nothing for two hours. I’m worried to call my maternity unit because I’ve been in maybe 10 or 11 times for reduced movements and now they have on my record every time I call that I’m just down as having persistent reduce movements and they always say that baby is fine and I don’t think I need to come ingives me so much anxiety about going to hospital for a C-section on the 20th, but I don’t know what to do

Better to get checked a hundred times and know that everything is alright - I’d call the maternity unit xx

Yes call them to be 100% sure. At this stage of pregnancy baby is limited in movement and may do slight ones. Try to tune internally and maybe you will feel that baby is still moving quietly?

I know but calling gives me so much anxiety and makes me feel so uncomfortable because because they think I’m just wasting time and they leave me for hours waiting to be seen because I’ve been in so much they see me as not a priority 🙁

Why would you go to maternity after 2 hours? My boy doesn’t move continuously throughout the day and I’m 30 weeks, the only time I went was because I hadn’t felt him for like 12 hours. Try not to worry 2 hours isn’t a lengthy period of time. Have a cold or fizzy drink and I’m sure they’ll soon move 🫣

As much as 2 hours isn’t a massive amount of time if that’s a change in their movements then I’d ring and explain your concerns

They may keep you waiting tho because obviously there is other people that need to be seen for different reasons

Drink a cold sugary drink and lay down and see how that goes

The more you stress the less your baby will move, your baby’s movements reacts to your mood if you’re depressed, stressed, anxious etc your baby will pick up on that, I called when I didn’t feel the baby move for 2 days not 2 hours so take it easy and don’t stress.
