I’ve just been diagnosed so still getting my head round it all! I work in a school so we aren’t allowed nuts, peas or chickpeas in the building (including hummus).
I’m thinking for breakfast I can have berries and yogurt. Then lunch maybe a ham and cheese wrap? But what about snacks? Obviously working in a school I need snacks that I can eat with the children, on the go. Nothing that I need to sit down to eat. I also need things that are going to fill me up because I should imagine I’ll be starving after just berries and yogurt for breakfast!
Any ideas for snacks? Also anymore lunch ideas welcome!!

Some lunches I’ve made is homemade chicken Caesar salad and brown pasta salads as I can add loads of vegetables to them!

Little snacks I have cucumber with hummus. Yogurts. Babybells. Made some sugar free jelly. Bananas don’t spike me.

For lunch I usually meal prep ground turkey with shredded cheese, and eat that with whole grain tortilla tortilla chips. My numbers are always super low after that!!
For snacks on the go, I’ve found mozzarella cheese sticks and zero sugar jerky sticks (Chomp is a great brand they have at Costco!) are good.
Also on breakfast - maybe you could turn your berries/greek yogurt into a smoothie? That’s what I do, and it’s super convenient/portable for my morning commute, plus I throw spinach and a scoop of protein powder to help keep me fuller longer. Again I know everyone’s numbers are different, but my post-breakfast readings have been super low with this! Best of luck babe ⚡️

I work in a school. No eggs or nuts for me.
Ive found pouch yoghurts that high protein have bn good for a snack. Plus pom pom bears and rich tea fingers as they are low carb.
Lunch cuppa soup , and a slice of wholemeal toast with cheese spread. I even have a protein yoghurt and a freddo and numbers are below 7.7 after an hr.
