Swimming

Hey! Other than abroad my baby hasn’t done a lot of swimming at home. We took LB to Butlins and he just wanted to run around (shallow end), refused armbands and had no fear. I was having small heart attacks! It was quite slippery!

My question is, what do you put on the baby for safety in the water. My son will be 18 months when we go again (centerparcs) but he’s quite petite. The arm bands were huge on him.

The centreparcs we went to had little kids life jacket type flotation suits you could borrow by the side of the pool in various sizes

My daughter has had lessons since she was 3 months old and has absolutely no fear. We've never used anything in the pool but we are going to centreparcs in couple of months and I want to be able to breath and not need to be so hands on so I've bought a floatation vest from splash about to try as I really don't want her in armbands
