Cradle Cap Help!

Hi everyone, my daughter has been having issues with dry scalp and cradle cap for a while now. When she first came home, her hair was full and looked like it was growing. Now she is entirely bald except for a little fuzz at the top that has cradle cap stuck which makes me think that will fall out too. Her Dr says to use mineral oil but that has done nothing at all. Any tips or suggestions??

I would wash my baby’s hair and use the baby brush softly to take off as much that comes off and then I’d put virgin coconut oil to hydrate

Olive oil, rub in about 15 mins before a bath. Comb her hair and gently lift the cradle cap and then wash her hair. Do this before every shower. It should go away in about a week.

Olive oil, then gently scrub with the FridaBaby cradle cap brush. For my 1st baby, I'd comb with the FridaBaby cradle cap comb, but my 2nd's scalp was too sensitive for combing before bath. Wash with Mustela baby cradle cap shampoo and gently scrub with a washcloth. After bath, comb with the FridaBaby cradle cap comb to get any other loose scales. I did this 2x a week until the cradle cap was less intense, then once a week. Now we wash with Happy Cappy shampoo at every bath with gentle scrubbing with the FridaBaby brush to keep his scalp healthy.

Put on oil, let sit for a few minutes, then gently start massaging it with a soft brush like a nail brush or toothbrush. The flakes will come off and after a few times across a couple days it’ll all be gone.

Shea butter is also good especially raw Shea butter.

My daughter developed cradle cap 6months after being born and we tried everything that is meant for cradle cap, nothing worked. We were them suggested organic coconut oil by a pharmacist and within 3 days it had completely cleared up, she is now nearly 2 and never had a problem since🤞🏻we would rub it into her scalp before bed and leave it over night and wash it out the next morning, no need for combs or anything else for that matter.

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

Pumping advise

FTM to a 2 week old! I’m breastfeeding and then giving one formula bottle last in the evening before bed. I want to start expressing milk to give me some breathing room and also allow my partner to be more involved in feeding. I’m finding the idea of introducing pumping into my day quite overwhelming though. I don’t want to take milk away from my baby by pumping if he needs it during the day when being breastfeed.

Can anyone advise how I start pumping and when to do it? Thank you!

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.
