Air bnb
This isn’t really baby related but does anyone own an air bnb and know what right you have when it comes to kicking out a tenant? Me and my bf have a air bnb in Texas and we had some guests staying and in the description it says no smoking inside and no house parties when I tell you they had a party it was like a whole block party there were atleast 10-15 cars in the neighborhood so we contacted them and told them they need to leave and air bnb canceled their reservations. The guest told us they were leaving and never did mind you we have cameras all over outside. We called the cops and they said it’s a civil matter so they went but they couldn’t really kick them out aparently even tho a whole party was going on. We warned them if they aren’t out by the next day we will be shutting off utilities ( we talked with an officer and he said we were aloud to do so ) and they still didn’t leave. The utilities got shut off and they still didn’t leave the whole day. Our neighbor called and said it looks like they finally left this morning so the cleaning lady came and this house is absolutely destroyed and the cops still say there is nothing they can do. We are looking into a lawyer but this is crazy so we really not have rights to our own home?!? Photos in comments

I’m a cleaner for airbnbs. It’s in their contract what damages will cost and penalties
we have been contacting them but it just seems like we have been in a loop with them and when the whole thing was going on they said the cops need to call them to do something about it and then the cops said they never call so they don’t know why they told us that and that they need to call them so idk if we just are getting a flunk but it’s been rough
she looked older and she had super good reviews so we didn’t have a issue but the issue is she wasn’t the actually booker her friend booked it under her name and was claiming to be her the whole time we found out.. yeah we’re definitely gonna change who can stay there we have been doing it the past couple years and have never had a issue until this weekend so it’s just unfortunate 😕
If you report the damages to air bnb they will make the guest pay for it buy taking the money off of their debit/credit card
