Is it normal at 6 weeks to just to see the gestational sac I had one done yesterday at the er cause I was worried I had a seizure but they said it was just near syncope passing out the doctor said she saw the gestational sac but too early to see the baby in it I haven’t had any bleeding at all

Yes that completely normal , you can probably see a fetal pole around 7-8 weeks but your baby will look more fetus/baby like around 10-12 weeks

Normal! Baby is so tiny at that point it’s hard to see. You could also be a bit earlier than you think

Yup. I got mine at 5+6 and it was just the sack with a little dot in it.

that looks further along than 5-6 weeks xx

I’m guessing that’s what mine looks like they didn’t show me what it looked like which I was upset about but they did the ultrasound to see if the baby was in the right spot

I would try not to worry as about 5/6 weeks they’re tiny, the sonographer estimated 5-6 weeks based on the sizing being 2mm. Xxx

I wouldn’t worry mama. There’s not much to see. Most are just implanting into the uterus at that time. Still a ball of cells. Which is why most places don’t ultrasound until 8+ weeks.

You should be able to see gestational sac and yolk sac at least. Heartbeat could start anywhere from 6w - 6w5d. But ERs don’t have the best equipment sometimes and especially if they just did an abdominal scan. That early you would see more transvaginally.

Avatar

they actually did both they finally did the transvaginally after just saw the gestational sac said it’s still too early to see the baby

that’s how mine looked too, a tiny 2mm crl 😭

it’s funny how weird it all looks until it’s actually past the embryo stage. Even then it’s not that cute at the early stages and fully depends on where they are in the sac.

I was like I’m pregnant with a little bird 😂 it’s crazy how at like week 9/10 everything changes and they start to resemble a baby ❤️

I had twins and I seen my twins like around that time

Is this little red bit on my section scar normal? It’s not oozing anything, doesn’t hurt but it’s the only bit on my scar like it so just curious! (19 days PP)
Thank you in advance! 🥰

Help

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

I’ve had no show, or anything like that.

Is this braxton hicks or early labour pains?

Anyone else felt like this?

Hi, I’m 4 months postpartum, little one sleeps through the night and is formula fed, the last week I’ve felt extremely tired and very hungry! Just wondered if anyone else has felt this way/experienced this?

Early waters/pre term labour?

I can’t get checked until later today unfortunately. I can’t tell if I’m leaking/starting early. I definitely think I’m having braxton hicks yesterday and today.. i have some pain in my back but she is quite low down so hoping it’s just pressure, baby was a little quieter yesterday but she’s back to more normal movements today, but my underwear just seems to get so wet, especially after going to the bathroom. And I honestly can’t work out the smell, I’m pretty sure it’s just discharge/urine leaking but there’s that worry in my mind a little. Are there any other ways to know/check if it could be the start of it all?
