I got the call from my doctor saying my second ivf transfer failed. I tried to keep low expectations but it still crushed me when I got the call and I don’t know how to move forward from this.
My husband wants us to stop trying and not put my body through this again but my heart can’t stop but wanting to try again hoping it’ll stick next time. I have 4 day 6 embryos left.
Anyone had any luck with third transfer? What did you do differently? Is it worth trying again or just accept that I can’t conceive.
What can I ask my doctor? Or should I switch clinics?
Thanks in advance!

Start taking optibac

It took 3 transfers in 2022 to get to another viable pregnancy and my embryos were PGT normal. Stats do show it can take 3 euploid embryos for each live birth. I didn’t change the protocol at all.

Ask for more testing see a naturopath
I did do PGT testing and they all came back good. My doctor also did a uterus biopsy after my first failed transfer and said no problem but that didn’t help with the second transfer.
I’ve been taking women’s probiotics. Is optibac different from it?
is there any specific testing you would recommend. I did PGT testing on the embryo and they came back good also did a uterus biopsy and they were no issues. I had a polyp removed as well. All these were done before my second transfer and still didn’t help
Thanks, I do want to try again but hoping to change my lifestyle a bit. I’m prediabetic and I’m not sure if that has an impact

Optibac is for women

I'm attempting my 3rd FET. They said if this one fails, they will look into it further, something about a blood clotting disorder test. But they said it tends to take 3 attempts, I'm still not holding out much hope. Deflated from it all.

please take few week optibac it’s good for uterus health

Before go for next transfer

Only you can decide when you’ve had enough.
My first (fresh) transfer didn’t work.
Second two miscarried.
My fourth transfer (final of that cycle) worked and I now have a 9 month old daughter.
There’s just no knowing when it’ll work or what might make it work.
Personally, I wouldn’t be able to stop while I still had embryos but I’d always said I’d only ever do two cycles then stop and get my pre fertility life back.
Thinks I did different on transfer that worked…endometrial scratch pre transfer and added Prontogest (PIO) injection. First time I’d ever taken them.

Hun try things like:
*Drinking pom juice
*Gentle daily walks
*Drinking bone broth prior to transfer to juicy up your lining
*Avoid chemicals on your body a few weeks leading to transfer & few weeks after - shampoo, Deodorant, lotions, makeup, nail varnish etc (may help)
*you need to take a break to get yourself in a ood mental head space as well as feel physically ready to transfer hun
*look into the outcomes/results of your clinic VS clinics near yoy and see if youd like to move (ask on here what clinics ppl used in your area)
Youre strong, you can do this
Wishing you every success on your journey lovely.
