I went for an early scan today due to having had previous miscarriages.
Baby was seen measuring 6 weeks with heartbeat which is great.
But there was a chorionic bump found on the scan which is over 3 times the size of baby.
Obviously I went down a google rabbit hole and it doesn’t look good with an increased chance of miscarriage. Apparently it’s only seen in 0.7% of pregnancies.
I guess I came here to ask, has anyone had this before, know of anyone who’s had it?
I can’t help but worry now 😔
