How to test when commuting?

I have to test an hour after my meals, including breakfast. Off to the office tomorrow for the first time since diagnosis, but my commute is a bit over an hour long, so even if I have breakfast *right* before I walk out the door, I won't be able to test until probably about 80-90 minutes after (public transport trains & underground not conducive to testing and getting clean water to wash hands!) Has anyone got any tips? Is it better for me to eat breakfast early and test at less than an hour, or better to have the late test?

Hey, I’m predibetic but also only 6-9
Weeks into the pregnancy journey so no issues so far but a little anxious about how it will go over time.

Sadly no advice to give but here for a chat if ever needed x

I still test at one hour even if I’m out. Otherwise I’d never test at the right times! It’s not always exactly at the hour mark but I take it with me and do it on the go. There’s a lot of talk of using the second droplet of blood. Don’t use wipes or hand sanitiser as this can skew readings. Which is why they recommend the second drop of blood to almost remove anything that might skew it.
