When did you start bathing their newborn babies..how often? I'm a bit nervous about it

We bathed in plain water the day after his cord clamp came off. Midwife agreed this was fine x

Her stump fell off after about 5 days and area was dry. We gave her a little bath in plain water at 9 days as she kept bathing in her own wee at nappy change times…! And then we gave her another yesterday also plain water, at 12 days old. I was nervous too but she really seemed to enjoy it! Her hands and feet flaked a little bit but apart from that that was all. The health visitor advised not to put anything in water until 6 weeks which is what we will do!
