Is Ellidy a tragedeigh?
I’m turned off by people saying they know Elodie’s that are nicknamed “Lodes”.
I hate that. I can imagine bullying if she was a bit large.

Let me reassure you, name jokes arent very popular. My surname is Leaker and literally NO one ever made a joke about it ever. I got bullied but never for my name.

Elodie for sure, with Ellie or Loey for nickname.

I think I’ll just pick something else, I don’t want it pronounced “Odie” either

I think Ellie or Elle are the much more obvious nicknames. Lodes is a bit of a stretch.
Ellidy feels kind of on the border between being its own different sounding name and being a tragedeigh but I think personally I wouldn’t risk it

yeah that’s what I thought but when I google the name apparently Lodes is what quite a few prefer to go by! Maybe it’s just them tho lol

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Hi guys so I’m 25 weeks today and I haven’t felt the baby kick at all yet at the scans she’s moving constantly that it’s hard to get the right measurements my first pregnancy was cryptic so I just want suggestions from one worried mother

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?
