Pre eclampsia advice

Has your urine been sent to the lab? Blood pressure is one of the main indicators.
Swelling can be normal in pregnancy, and headaches to an extent (especially if they go with painkillers).

It will show in your urine. I got it at 41+1 and my blood pressure was borderline (but had been most of pregnancy which they put down to white coat syndrome). There were no other symptoms except very high protein in my urine. I was induced same day which at the time felt silly (I didn't understand pre-eclampsia!!) as I wasn't unwell - protein is the main factor they'll use to diagnose x

Following! I had a scan last week and it showed baby starting to slow down and my blood pressure was high 😩 They sent me to emergency unit to be monitored. Back again this Thursday to see what happens for more monitoring and scan 🥲🤞🏼

no they've never sent it off, just told me I have protein.

It should have been sent off. Did they say how much + it was? Did you mention the other symptoms?

at the time the only other symptom I had was a small baby. No mention of how much protein, I have an appointment for a scan and then the consultant on Thursday so will mention it then

You can ask to do another sample, and if you have proteinuria again, then request for it to be sent off to the lab for further analysis. Good luck lovely
