I need some positivity

My intrusive thoughts are taking over. Social media is the worst - TikTok/fb reels. I swear I see a 25+ miscarriage/stillborn every single day on there. I’m so nervous. The first 12 weeks I was a nervous wreck. I thought it would be easier once I had movement. But now I’m terrified when the movement stops! Ugh. I’m so afraid of a stillbirth. I just want him to be here. I hate being pregnant. Not because I’m miserable but because I have so many fears. This morning I’ve stared at his ultrasound photo convincing myself he has Pierre robin syndrome. Radiology reported everything normal this is just me creating fears that don’t exist. I need these next 15 weeks to fly by. 😭😩😭

Yes, stillbirth is my biggest fear. I was the same way with my previous pregnancy and just relaxed after she was born. I don’t know what to say because i’m on the same boat but will follow thread to help me get over this feeling.

I know what you mean! I will definitely confirm that social media does not help. Whenever I see something like that on TikTok I just try and scroll as fast as possible, and then think of something else. Idk what your faith is, I have been praying A LOT this pregnancy, and I have found verbalizing my fears and putting my trust and faith in God has helped relieve some of that nervousness.

I would intentionally search for positive content because you’ll likely start to get more positive content in your feed. Try searching “positive birth stories”. I find myself in fear loops too but just try to remind myself that the stress is worse for the baby. In the end, you have to kind of trust the process and know you’re doing your best.

Block the content. It will not help anything for you to see it. Calm vibes are what you need. Block everything negative and do new searches for good stuff! Or take a break from social media. Statistics are in your favor, remember that ♥️

Not to scare anyone. My first I had a stillborn at 36.5 weeks. Not knowing as much I always feel like I could’ve done something differently. My advice is just take it easy, don’t over do ANYTHING. Rest, and once your in your second trimester sleep on your left side. I was told this through every pregnancy after her. Sleeping on the left side during pregnancy facilities blood flow, ensuring that vital organs and the baby receive the nutrients and oxygen needed. I always say a prayer daily over her -

I bring the little baby that is forming within me to You Lord and pray that You would be with me every step of the way. I ask that Your guiding hand of protection would be over and around and within this little life and may he or she grow and develop without any problems or complication. Lord, I want to live in my life in harmony with You, so that I bring Your Spirit into our home and into my child's life. Help me be the loving mother You want me to be.

And, Lord, I also pray for the physical development of my baby. Please cause everything that is happening this week to develop properly.

💜 Psalm 139:13–16
You knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
💛 Psalm 127:3–5
Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.

I feel this. The intrusive thoughts are hard I’ve been considering going to therapy just to talk through it. I have days I’m terrified of things like stillbirth or SIDS, there’s days I am so confident on the items I’ve picked on my registry then the internet has me second guessing, then there are days I’m like she’s so much safer in me the world is so scary so then I panic about years from now lol and the hormones don’t help with this. There’s definitely ways to help replace intrusive thoughts so I’d recommend seeing a therapist 🫶🏼

If for the sake of your baby you can stay off SM that would be best in my opinion.

I am not on social media and I am still considering therapy. My depression and low thoughts started recently though. I think mostly stems from feeling overwhelmed because of work, rationship changes (not bad, just different - my partners emotions around being a new parent plus mine), house remodeling, moving, pre-existing health issues. It's piling on.

praying for you. This is my husbands first and we are also in the middle of remodeling and I feel like my mental health is on edge. But we will make it through all this ♥️

Just here to plus one therapy for pregnancy-related anxiety! I’ve been going for over a year after a series of miscarriages and it has helped A LOT! You can actually search for folks on Psychology Today who specialize in pregnancy, pre/post partum.

really sorry you went through this, but this really didn’t seem like the place for that.

I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this, but I’m glad because I know Someone who can take all of this fear, worry, and concern away. His name is Jesus Christ.

I first advise you either getting off social media, or intentionally search for positive pregnancy content. Searching for the content should flip the algorithm to a more positive setting.

Also, I strongly suggest you rebuke these thoughts in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It’s the enemy speaking to you, and you must speak back. This is spiritual.

Enemy: “Your baby stopped moving. They might be dying.”
You: “I rebuke you lying devil in the mighty name of Jesus! This child shall live and not die and declare the works of the Lord.” (Psalms 118:17)

Every time you hear anything negative concerning your baby or pregnancy, rebuke it in Jesus’s name. Also pray for the Lord to give you peace and for His will to be done.

This is what has been helping me through this pregnancy. I experienced a missed miscarriage before this babe.

SPPH (secondary postpartum haemorrhage) due to retained placenta -D&C?

Looking to see if anyone else has experienced this? Currently trying to pass retained tissue ( 4 weeks pp) and finding every day so exhausting just constantly waiting and checking my bleeding. I stopped bleeding on week 2.5/3 then bleeding picked up last Saturday and I haemorrhaged on Thursday morning with a rush to hospital. Everyday since I’m waking up scared I’ll be bleeding out. Worried to go toilet to check, I’m not convinced I’ll be passing it naturally and I’m worried I’ll need a D&C… has anyone had this? My retained tissue is 2cm so they said it’s small but I have no signs of passing it or blood changing colour to show slowing down.

39 weeks pregnant FTM

39 weeks baby hasn’t come yet and I am just full of anxiety. I am trying to relax. I am trying to chill, but I can’t chill. I do not want to be induced. I would love to have her natural. Issue is I am tight down there and petite and baby is measuring big like the head especially. I know that measurements can be off. But I have photos! And she is a chunk. This is so unpredictable. How do I just put my faith forward and trust in God and how do I let go of this anxiety? I am doing fine and then boom it hits me and I want to ball my eyes out. I am trying to treat myself and do little things but driving or doing anything is so hard now and I’m so huge and uncomfortable …I’m at my breaking point 😭

Confused Over Test Result

My heads pretty blagged about this atm. I’ve had spotting & some cramping but of the 2 tests I’d have expected the clear blue one to be most accurate. Any advice?
