We've actually not done it all winter! Just long sleeved tops under jumpers and then a coat and hat when out. She never seemed too cold. Would have if it was crazy freezing but was never too bad and she seems to run warm. I'd say give it a go but they may have got used to it so may be bit too cold and then just try again when weather warms

I’m gonna keep them till she turns 2, but I won’t as much in the summer as it’s warmer, but some days she just wears vests and nothing else in the summer

Apart from summer time when it’s really warm when I start potty training. The popper ones are super handy to keep a nappy in place

this is my plan too

Probably until he can pull his top down if it rides up and gets uncomfortable. I know that annoys me so I'd want to minimise that. Especially overnight

I intended to stop when he hit the next size (18-24) as it’ll almost be summer but forgot he tends to outgrow vests before everything else and it’s still rather cold so I’ve carried on 😂 I’ll stop when he stops fitting in the next size!

Also wondering, I like vests as they keep her middle warm, I forgot to send a spare to nursery today and her top and cardi kept riding up and leaving her middle bare. Maybe over the summer then phase out as she gets to 2?

Think I’ll keep my lg in vests until she’s potty trained.

My lg is 3 and still wears vests in the autumn/winter (obviously not the poppered ones)
