Feeling so 💩 Just wondering if anyone had /is having sunbeds while pregnant after 12 weeks i’ve seen mixed review on this some say don’t and some say it’s fine. Nothing scientifically proven uv lights can harm your baby. Do you think 10 mins a week on a sunbed would be okay? X

I believe there isn’t any clear research.
I’m sure I read you’re more likely to burn. I could ordinarily sit outside all day, but burned when I was pregnant after using factor 50, which I also never use. . So would maybe reduce your time, if you normally have 10 minutes try 5 and see how you go.
I’m no professional though!

Before i was pregnant i was getting 20 minutes, i put my face on sunbed today for 15 mins and burned me alive😂 I think may start doing 8 mins every week see how get on. The paleness is making me depressed🥲😂

I know that the place I always went to won’t allow pregnant women on their beds 😔 I was going 30 mins + a week and now I’m back to being a translucent woman 😂 I’m going to invest in some gradual tan till bubba is born!

God I’d love a few more feedbacks on this as I usually have about 14 mins a week for a glow and I and feeling pale and crusty

It's not recommended. Something about increasing your internal body temperature. Same reason why you're not allowed in saunas / steamrooms / jacuzzis

Yes, what Ellie said is correct. Anything that raises your core body temp isn’t recommended. Also, as there’s no clear research as to the effects of UV exposure during pregnancy, I personally would avoid them as the risk just wouldn’t be worth it for me. However, I hear ya on the hating the pale look front, and I currently am using fake tan to stop the pale whale look 😅
