Home birth and hospital bags
Hey, is anyone here planning a home birth but still packed there hospital bag? I know my midwife said I still need to do one incase it’s needed but I’m still sat here at 37 weeks (third pregnancy) and not even started it 🙈 I feel so un-organised this time round, I just don’t know where to start with it all!

I’m also 37 weeks and planning a homebirth and still haven’t started my hospital bag (or literally anything else either 🫠) I was meant to have a homebirth with my first as well but went into labour at night and there were no midwives available as they were both as another birth so I ended up having to go into a birthing centre. Not holding my breath about getting a homebirth this time either as I’m assuming the same might happen again so deffo need to sort a bag
Same here, hoping for my home birth but I’ve got all of my stuff out just not physically in a bag yet. Hopefully won’t be necessary for us but it will be handy for it all to be in one place anyway I’m thinking. Hope you’re doing well x
yeah that’s what my midwife said at least all out stuff will be in one place and they won’t have to route for anything for us haha! I’m doing well yeah thank you, apart from the lack of sleep and the uncomfortableness🫣 hope your doing good too x
I can so relate to this third too want a home birth so packing is not happening right now. I had a scare where I thought I was in labour two weeks ago and thought crap better pull out the car seat so starting the process now. Still need to pack fully but I think the third you just relax and bring the basics x
