Labour

Is it just me who is worried what people will think of me when I am in labour? I don’t know why I have such a big fear of being judged or if anyone ever does but the idea of it scares me :/ I do have anxiety so that may not help matters 🤔

I felt the same but honestly it all goes out the window when it’s happening. You are only focused on getting through contractions and pushing out baby. I’m a very modest person and I spent 8 hours like Winnie the Pooh. Your instincts will kick in and you won’t even notice people being there x

Completely agree with the above, you’ll zone out and just focus on you and your baby. X

It really does go out the window

I was nervous with my first, but once you're in labour you really couldn't care less about anything other than the job in hand. Any self conscious thoughts go out the window

You won’t care who’s looking at the Crown Jewels when you’re focusing on pushing a baby out. I had 4 students all looking as well as 3 consultants, my partner and a special baby doctor all trying to catch a glimpse 😅 I also had severe anxiety before my 1st baby but the birth experience helped me strangely get over it quite quickly! 🤷🏻‍♀️😊 x
