Expressing breastmilk

2 week baba is combi fed. Majority of it is expressed and probably has 1 bottle of formula during the night where i can't keep up. But one boob produces more than double the other. My right boob just gave 4oz where as the left just gave 1oz. I thought it may be the placement of the pump, but it's eveytime. Does anyone have a solution or is this just a normal thing? It'd be amazing if I could express the same amount as the other!!

Hi

I have the same experience, my baby is 10weeks old. The right breast always produces more milk than the left

I had a similar issue but EBF are you expressing and then bottle feeding or is baby at the boob? If you can get baby to feed from boob bring them to the side producing less more often (like 2 to 1) and you should start to produce more on than side. It's true when they say it's supply and demand.

But also, it is totally normally for us to naturally have one side producing more than the other so it's not something the needs 'fixing' unless it's uncomfortable for you.
