Awake between 6 & 7, bottle. Breakfast at 8, nap 3 hours after she wakes. dinner, another nap around 3 hours after she wakes from her nap. Tea, bath at 6.30, bottle, bed for 7.30.
She does have a 4oz bottle before each nap, and she plays in-between times too!

I have very flexi routine depending what time he wakes up which is usually between 8- 8.30am and then I take it from there. Today he woke at 10am as he woke thru the night so some days its completely out the window but example of typical day would be-

Wake and milk 8-8.30am
Breakfast 10.30-11am
Nap ( 30 min) 11.30- 12pm
Lunch 1pm
Milk and nap( 30 min) 3.30-4pm
Dinner - 6pm
Bath and milk 7.30pm
Bed- 8pm

I don’t think she meant three hour naps, I think they’re three hour wake windows! 😊

9:30 wake, milk, breakfast
1:00 dinner
1:30 milk
2:00 nap
4:00/5:00 awake up
6:30 tea
8:30 Milk
9:00/9:30 bed

Anywhere between 5.30-7- wake up
7- bottle
8.30- breakfast
Anywhere between 9.30-10.30- nap
11- snack
12.15/12.30- lunch
2- bottle
2-4- nap
5- dinner
6.45- bath
7.30- bed
So we usually work on 3.5 hour wake windows

My boy has milk every three hours not including naps probably around 4/5 bottles a day is that too much 7 ounces each time

Avatar

He also has three meals a day

Avatar

I’ve been told at 9 months a baby should be having about 4 bottle a day equaling 600ml (21oz) and no more that 850ml (30oz)
And at 10-12m a baby should be having 3 bottles a day around 400ml (14oz)

(Formula fed babies, breast milk is different)

Avatar

everyone is always given such different advice. I’ve been told they should only be on 2 bottles a day by 12 months. So I’m just going to following my boys cues and go with that.

Avatar

I think the aim is to have it spread out at 3 bottles for 10 months then drop the bottle but keep atleast 14oz until 12 months 🤷🏼‍♀️ I may be wrong

My boys been in 3 bottles for ages and were starting cows milk next month so won’t even be having that

Avatar

I should probably try and drop a bottle or two then as he has had 5 today all 7 ounces, he asks for them though 🙈 he has three meals a day maybe I need to feed him more he’s not big for his age or anything still super skinny.

I haven’t really had any advice on feeding him I just follow his ques.

Wdy think of this for a toddler to learn word construction?

I'm open to anything else to start teaching him to read and write. He's 3!

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.

Pumping advise

FTM to a 2 week old! I’m breastfeeding and then giving one formula bottle last in the evening before bed. I want to start expressing milk to give me some breathing room and also allow my partner to be more involved in feeding. I’m finding the idea of introducing pumping into my day quite overwhelming though. I don’t want to take milk away from my baby by pumping if he needs it during the day when being breastfeed.

Can anyone advise how I start pumping and when to do it? Thank you!
