Hitting
How do I handle the smacking? He will smack us when he doesn’t get his own way.
He can’t communicate yet, so I know that he’s frustrated but I can’t just let him smack us constantly. Especially now he is at nursery.

We just tell him not to hit etc.. it’s just a phase, little one is a nursery and doesn’t do it there but will do it to us! Same with my eldest..

We get down to his level, tell him not to hit as it hurts and ask him what it is that he wants. If he can't communicate it, we reel of a list of things he might like, to try and figure it out and redirect him. I have made a picture board of common things so when he can't find his words, he can point x
