Vaccinations

My daughter was born at 32+3 and she has her first lot of vaccinations booked in for Thursday when she is almost 9 weeks actual age but only 9 days corrected. I know the nhs guidelines are to have them at their actual age but I’m just so worried that she is too little for them? She currently weighs 6lb 13oz and we’ve been so lucky that medically she has always been okay but I just can’t shake the anxiety. Just looking for words of reassurance from other premmies that had their jabs at 8 weeks actual age and we’re fine to ease my mind. Just want to do what’s best for her

My baby was 33+4 and had hers at 8 weeks but was fine. She slept more and I couldn’t touch the top of her thighs. She struggled more with the 2nd set as I think her tummy was upset. We gave calpol both times.
She also had her bcg when a few weeks old and was completely fine after that.
Fingers crossed for you x

My little girl was born 33 weeks exactly last year and we got her vaccines actual age and she was fine she was 6lbs 4 when she had them it’s scary cause their so small and the needle looks big but it’s fine after a couple minutes they are okay like it never happened we also were worried about the calpol aspect after jabs so we done a half dose

My son was 33+1 and had his at 8 weeks (not corrected). He was absolutely fine but totally get your anxiety. I questioned it with the neonatal unit and they said it’s needed at 8 weeks regardless

My 26+6 weeks had his at his actual age and was fine. He was still in hospital so knew he was in the best place if anything was to happen x
