I’m really worried about my fertility 😣😢

Since trying for baby number 2 I have been doing my ovulation tracking every month.

Since December I have had two chemicals ( within a few days of testing positive)

I have consistently high LH compared to some people I see and I don’t ovulate until 19/20 day of my cycle

I have been having spotting from 10 dpo and then heavy heavy bleeds for around 3-4 days from day 14dpo

My worry is egg quality & that my body is having issues actually implanting.

We got pregnant with my first baby within 3 cycles not testing LH and only BD day 10 & 14 of that cycle so I’m wondering if he is a miracle baby and actually I have issues

I have always had chronic pelvic pain and issues with my stomach for years, ( so many tests done they seem to find nothing )

Stupidly because I got pregnant quickly with my first I assumed maybe everything was ok and now I’m tracking and seeing what’s going on with my hormones PLUS the two chemicals I’m beginning to worry

The consistently high LH could be an indication of PCOS.. speak to your doctor about a blood test

Hi! I started trying for my second 7 months postpartum and I always ovulated quite late (CD 19 - 23) and that’s because my periods have not regulated again since having my son.

I noticed you’re only 7months pp and just wanted to remind you that your cycles and hormones still won’t have regulated yet. You are ovulating which is a good sign and means you can get pregnant, but I wouldn’t be too concerned about the late ovulation/high LH readings because they do rise, peak & fall again which is normal and it’s likely your cycle isn’t regular yet. I would say that’s normal postpartum fluctuations.

Keep tracking, keep trying and see what happens. It’s very normal to take up to a year x

this is what I’m concerned about as other than irregular periods I have other things that would make sense

there’s a group on here TTC PCOS, lots of advice and nice stories on here. Although PCOS is under researched there is also lots of reasons for hope and successful pregnancies despite having PCOS.

But for reach out to your GP, explain your concerns, symptoms and request a blood test to be done

because I’m not breastfeeding my periods came back after 8 weeks and were every 30 ish days

This will be my 6th month tracking and each month has been the same each month and it’s the fact I have had two chemicals that makes me think maybe something is going on

my periods also came back quite quickly, after about 7 weeks and were still late ovulation because my cycles were longer. I used to ovulate on CD 14 as my cycles were 28 days long before having my son, and now I ovulate CD 18-22 because my cycles are 30-32 days long.

Unfortunately chemical pregnancies are a lot more common than we think and they’re usually just mistaken for periods. Usually only women actively trying notice their chemical pregnancies. I had one and I know someone who had two while she was trying.

I do think what you’re describing sounds relatively normal, just the effects of postpartum. I’m a midwife and I hear these things a lot, and have experienced them myself, but I’m not a fertility specialist so I cant say for certain. If you are concerned, there’s no harm in consulting a fertility specialist if you have the means to do so x

I'm also 7 months PP, however I'm the opposite at the moment, I don't seem to be ovulating at all! I'm taking ovulation tests every day but they don't seem to be getting any darker. I was pregnant with my son within two cycles of having my implant removed so I was also nieve enough to think I wouldn't have any issues getting pregnant again, alas, I don't seem to be ovulating 😕 x

it’s so hard isn’t it to know what’s going on postpartum
