Aspirin

I've been taking low dose dispersable aspirin following midwifes orders since week 12 or whatever it was.. I collected my final prescription last night (33 weeks tomorrow) and there's been a shortage of the dissolvable ones for a few weeks so they've given me normal pill versions (still low dose). They said they're just as safe to take, waiting for midwife to ring back, but doesn't anyone have any experience of whether they are the same to take? Thanks!!

I’ve been taking tablet form from boots since 12 weeks and nearly 34 weeks x

@Martha I've been told to stop mine from 36 weeks so best to check as may not be long at all! That's why I've been worried about having her early and having still been taking it 😳 so far all okay though x

I just buy mine! My consultant or midwife won’t do a prescription because of how much it would cost the NHS. Aspirin costs about 72p off the shelf! A prescription on the NHS costs £9.65. No logic at all! Xx

I’ve been taking them since week 8, normal pill version and it is just as safe to take them as the dissolvable ones.

They are the same. I just take which one I can get as not always either one is available. It's fine as long as dose is the same
