How much are you spending on your hospital bag?

I’m finding that it’s becoming and more expensive- there just seems to be more and more items that I need to get?! Is anyone else finding this??? Am I just going over the top?

I have him there because I’ll just be buying extra stuff but I want too be prepared. For me it’s 3 days in the hospital c-section mama

Im just using a small suitcase and going to have a carrier bag of extras/spares of anything I feel necessary in the car! Doesn’t need to be a glamorous bag, just needs to fit stuff in🤣🙈x

I’ve spent so much on the baby, I am absolutely splurging on things that will help me recover postpartum or just make a hospital stay less horrible! We’ve at least bought a couple of heavy duty duffel bags that will be used for future holidays/car to go trips etc so it’s not just for one trip

I haven't bought a new bag, in fact I'm thinking of using my partners slightly grubby hold-all but contents wise 😅
I've bought new pjs
Luckily a lot of my toiletries I was gifted for my baby shower
I bought the fridamom essentials kit which was like £38
Another £8 on always discreet disposable pants
Sanitary pads are another couple of quid
I want a hand held fan so that will be another tenner
So we're already up to like £80 and that's not even everything!!
I dread to think once I've bought snacks and stuff 🤣

Thanks all, glad I’m not the only one!! I’m going to use an old suitcase to save some £££ the rest is clocking up

I'm using stuff I've already got (luggage, big t-shirts, pjs, change of clothes, towel, flipflops) wherever I can. Nursing bras and nipple cream I'd need to get either way, as I would with nappies, baby clothes, wipes etc. And I've already got a washbag. I got disposable pants on others' recommendation, and maybe I'll get a peri bottle but I'll get witch hazel separately to keep costs down. Doesn't need to be that expensive, probably spent £20 on pants, pads etc x

Im using a medium sized holdall bag that my partner got free for a running event a few years back. It's absolutely fine and does the job. I've spent around £50 on pads, a towel, toiletries, snacks so far x
