NIPT Testing/Gender

Yesterday was my 12 week appointment. When we went in baby was measuring farther along than we expected so I guess I am technically 13 weeks. But my question is how long did everyone’s results take to get back to them?

When my friend got the test a couple years ago, she was able to get the results back that night. They said it is possible to get the results back earlier than expected, but to expect 7 to 10 days.

I got my blood taken on the 22nd and it says I’ll have some of the results by the 8th another by the 15th and the other one by the 18th. My dr office is using Natera.

My doctor’s office used MaterniT21. Got my blood drawn on February 19th and got the results February 24th.

I got my blood taken last Monday and got the results today! My office used Natera

With Natera I got my results 7 days after, specifically 5 calendar days after they confirmed receipt of the sample via email. But i think they are located in California so it may have gotten there quick?

Friends wedding abroad

Hi all. I know this is FTM... But really need advice. I am currently pregnant with baby #2. Only 8 weeks. I didn't want to tell anyone yet, my partner and boss knows (needed for risk assessment reasons annoyingly). My friend is getting married in a remote part of Spain in ~3 months. I've already had a few minor complications, pain, bleeding, vanishing twin... I got preeclampsia last pregnancy and a terrible birth.
I am pretty sure I don't feel comfortable flying and then travelling out to a remote part of Spain during pregnancy. It will just be me and my toddler. I know it's overcautious but I just don't feel comfortable. I'm not even sure if I am going to be classified as high risk pregnancy or not.
How do I handle this? I need to tell her ASAP, but I didn't really want to tell anyone yet as doc told me miscarriage risk is a bit increased with vanishing twin. Any ideas?

Anxious/depressed

My first pregnancy symptom was my anxiety out of nowhere. I feel like I'm a bundle of nerves and just so scared of everything. Is anyone else feeling similar? How are you managing? Are we contributing it to hormones?
