Sleepwear

Hey, just wondering what people dress there babies in at night? I usually dress my baby in a babygrow and 2.5 grow bag but he has been quite unsettled and has woken up cold so I'm just a little worried he isn't warm enough. But I'm terrified of him over heating if i put him in a vest xx

Long sleeved vest, baby grow and 2.5 tog bag, or a long sleeved vest and a long sleeved 3.5 tog bag

You can get really good 3.5 tog bags on Amazon that you can zip the sleeves off if needed

We do babygrow and 2.5 tog bag as he’s always too warm with a vest

I'm trialling a vest sleepsuit and 2.5 bag tonight. I'm just terrified he will over heat. But feel like he has been to cold because the top of his bag was cold to touch and he has woken up stuffy xx

I’ve been so worried about baby’s temp when sleeping too. I was putting her in a vest, baby grow and 2.5tog sleep sack but the other day her hands were blue when she woke up.
I’ve since bought a 2.5tog sleep sack with sleeves and put her in that last night but was terrified she’d be too hot. When she needed feeding at 4am her hands and cheeks were cool so definitely not too hot. Will be trying the same again tonight but the anxiety around baby temp is real!

It really is isn't it. His bag is sleeveless, our room is pretty cool but we have a little heater we put on, we have a gro egg but there not very reliable I find. Xx I feel the same, sleepless night ahead xx

We mostly do a sleepsuit, no vest, and a 1.5-2.5tog sleepsuit. The thermostat is in babies room, so heating will come on if below 18 degrees, and the room itself is warmest in the house, got weird wood panelling (sauna vibes!) so glad she’s in her own room as our bedroom is freezing by comparison and would definitely stress me out 😬
