NIPT test

I haven’t don’t it yet, but I plan to during me doctor’s visit next week. Just curious, when you say prepare, how would you prepare?

We’d definitely want to think about further testing & consider our options. I’m not entirely sure I’d consent to an amniocentesis. Especially since the genetic test is known to produce false positives. We’d also want to start thinking about how caring for a child with exceptionalities might look in our family - resources, support options, how to introduce concepts to our oldest, etc.

It took a week for mine with Natera, from sample to results. All was good :) didnt read the sex yet though waiting to plan something

The lab that did my processed my bloodwork was BilliontoOne and we got our results back within a week!
