Baby girl is here finally!

After a crazy 48 hours Callie Elizabeth made her appearance 24.02.24 ♥️

I struggled through contractions, 3-4 every 10 minutes, breathing through and using the birthing ball as much as possible, was told I wasn’t dilating further then 3cm, even after hours and hours of being induced on the drip.

Unfortunately, couldn’t use the birthing pool as I’d planned but in the end it was suggested I go for a c-section after concerns for lack of waters around baby for too long.

Got to hospital about 2pm Friday and she was born 9.29pm Saturday! Worth the drama and the wait, I’m so in love. Good luck mums to be! 🥰

Hi, so I found it quite surreal tbh, I really hadn’t planned on a C-section but it’s amazing what they do. You don’t feel any pain, you’re numb from the waist down, it’s just a strange feeling. Afterwards you just have to be patient with your body because you’re recovering from major surgery, take the pain killers afterwards and let other people help you when you need it. It’s been nearly a week and I’m feeling tonnes better, just taking care not to do too much and listening to my body. ☺️

2nd baby

Anyone who’s had their 2nd baby, when did you go into labour compared to your first?

I’ve just discovered the nub theory and this is my 4th baby. Anyone take a guess?

SPPH (secondary postpartum haemorrhage) due to retained placenta -D&C?

Looking to see if anyone else has experienced this? Currently trying to pass retained tissue ( 4 weeks pp) and finding every day so exhausting just constantly waiting and checking my bleeding. I stopped bleeding on week 2.5/3 then bleeding picked up last Saturday and I haemorrhaged on Thursday morning with a rush to hospital. Everyday since I’m waking up scared I’ll be bleeding out. Worried to go toilet to check, I’m not convinced I’ll be passing it naturally and I’m worried I’ll need a D&C… has anyone had this? My retained tissue is 2cm so they said it’s small but I have no signs of passing it or blood changing colour to show slowing down.

Owlet sock worth it?

Anyone use the owlet sock for newborn? Is it worth the price and what are some pros / cons?

39 weeks pregnant FTM

39 weeks baby hasn’t come yet and I am just full of anxiety. I am trying to relax. I am trying to chill, but I can’t chill. I do not want to be induced. I would love to have her natural. Issue is I am tight down there and petite and baby is measuring big like the head especially. I know that measurements can be off. But I have photos! And she is a chunk. This is so unpredictable. How do I just put my faith forward and trust in God and how do I let go of this anxiety? I am doing fine and then boom it hits me and I want to ball my eyes out. I am trying to treat myself and do little things but driving or doing anything is so hard now and I’m so huge and uncomfortable …I’m at my breaking point 😭

Confused Over Test Result

My heads pretty blagged about this atm. I’ve had spotting & some cramping but of the 2 tests I’d have expected the clear blue one to be most accurate. Any advice?
