My son Mateo has the worst fever and vomit ever it's going on since 3pm all the way until now it's been continuing this for more than 2 hours
My mom and i took him to urgent care
I gave him his tylenol for kids medicine for pain and fever
Gave him some cold tea
Some Popsicles
And ginger ale to help with upset stomach after vomiting and today I will give him a room temperature bath and gave him a cold press rag to help
Yah I hope and prayed this fever goes way down hopefully 6 or 7 am
Rn I am exhausted and scared and worried about my son Mateo who is 7 years old rn Mateo is talking and interactive thank God he is feeling ok
So yah pray for my son he needs it more than I do

If the fever doesn’t go away with medicine take him to the ER if fever last for more than 4-5 days take him to the ER vomiting and diarrhea can be a stomach virus but can last up to two weeks. Just try to keep hydrated with any kind of pedialyte. Coconut water and water down apple juice is an alternative but if you do give apple juice make sure it’s more water than juice because sugar can worsen diarrhea. For vomiting crackers bananas starchy foods. For stomach discomfort chamomile tea and spearmint tea work best. I hope he feels better soon 💖
I would take him to the ER. All that vomiting he will need iv fluids from dehydration.
