Awe yay! I found yesterday from my NIPT test that I’m having a boy too :^)

Congrats, how long did it take to get the results

I never understood why you get told the gender via NIPT tests in America, in England we don’t get told anything to do with gender until 20 weeks scan at hospital unless we pay for private scans at 16 weeks.. xx

It took us a week to get the NIPT results and it wasn’t covered by insurance. We paid around $300 for this test.

The NIPT test can detect the gender with 99.9 percent accuracy so they provide it as a service to expecting mothers to find out gender earlier! We used to wait until 20 weeks but now with the NIPT, we found out earlier!

mine was covered by my basic Anthem Medicaid but I’m in Indiana maybe it’s different where u r.
