My doctors have told me today I have mild anaemia. I eat a lot of meat, cereals full of Iron and my multivitamins which also have it in. Any ideas how I can get it back up? I know it’s very common during pregnancy but I don’t want it to become a problem by the time I give birth! Anyone else??

I constantly have low iron, I just take iron supplements and try to keep a high iron diet. Plenty of fresh orange as it helps you to absorb the iron.
For me it wasn't any worse during pregnancy, I just got the tablets for free 🤣

I’m hoping they’ll have prescribed you iron tablets for this? Sadly low iron in pregnancy will only get worse and you will not sufficiently replenish it with just food and over the counter vitamins.
Nope they didn’t because it’s mild and they said foods high in iron will easily boost it back up 🤷🏼♀️

Did you say you were already taking a supplement? I'd keep a close eye on how you feel, extra tired etc as once your iron levels are low, your iron stocks get used and you don't want those to get low believe me!
They didn’t seem concerned at all said it’s ‘extremely common in pregnancy’ I see my midwife next week so I will be sure to ask extra questions. Not noticed being extra tired just yet xx
