Period pain type twinges and needing to empty my bowels a lot

Honestly I’ve felt this through tonight ,had lower tummy aches and serious braxton hicks,my tummy kept getting hard but fine this morning and I’m due 27th march could it be early signs of labour or body just prepping ?

Hopefully you have your baby early - I have been having signs since 36 weeks... I am now 40+8 days and no baby. Try not to get too hung up on things. I've come to terms with my baby coming when he/she is ready, and I feel better ☺️

Wow 40+ 8? How long are they willing to leave you for till baby comes

I’m the same. Due date is the 5th March - I’ve been adamant she was going to be early based on how I’ve been feeling and now not so sure. I’ve accepted she will decide to come when’s she’s ready :)

Oh nice but is it normal for tummy to get hard frequently at 36 weeks and above? did you feel this way

Yeh I've been having braxton hicks, losing my plug slowly, runny stools, I had abit of a bloody show at 36 weeks but still no baby! 😅 I've had nausea, bits of feeling unwell, and then a few hours pass and it goes and there's nothing. The baby has been head down since 20 weeks and 3/5 engaged since 36 weeks. He/she is just to comfy!

I've refused an induction as it's not for me so I have a planned section at 40+11. The midwife said it could take upto a week for an induction to work and then it could result in an unplanned/emergency section anyways and I'm not wanting to put the baby, I or my partner through that stress but things are different for everyone ☺️

you have made the best decision🥰🥰, however I rang triage this morning and I was asked to come in coz of the braxton hicks contractions ,they checked all was fine so I was sent back home
