Pregnancy weight gain

I know its normal to gain weight. This is my second pregnancy, but I am the same weight now as I was at the end of my pregnancy with my first at 27weeks tomorrow. I feel at a loss because I don't go to the gym regularly but even when I do go I have NO idea what is safe/unsafe to do or even what is beneficial to do. Anyone have any tips? Tricks? Advice? I'm just feeling a little down that I am in the obese category for my height and weight

It’s not recommended to start anything too intense that is new to you while pregnant but you could just walk and maybe do prenatal yoga?

If you are not a person who is comfortable at the gym I would just start with doing 30 45mins of walking a day. Staying active is the most important. Also, lots of programs for pregnancy and postpartum out there. Try to find some mobility videos to follow. I do some low impact classes twice a week (with classpass app) and follow a couple of lifts and mobility at the gym with the Alive app pregnancy strong program (not free but worth it for me). Just stay as active as you can even if it's a walk!! Good luck

As above comments have said, I'd just recommend walking. I push 2 toddlers in a stroller every day for about an hour. However, this is also my second pregnancy and I also weigh more than I did when I gave birth to my first... I'm wayyy hungrier this time and my cravings are always mega high calorie...

If you can swim, I would recommend swimming since it's not intense on your joints and feels really good to do when pregnant since the water buoys you up!
