Previous miscarriage
I had an early miscarriage roughly 5 months ago and am currently approximately 6 weeks pregnant. I don't have my ultrasound until the 19th and am so scared for it. The thought of looking at that screen and seeing the same thing makes me sick to my stomach. Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

Yes, before both my babies I lost a baby early on first- it’s always going to be scary and I think you’ll always have negative thoughts but I now have 2 lovely girls xx
I've been there, it's hard to feel happy or excited about pregnancy after a loss. I'm wishing you a very healthy pregnancy ❤️
I think it's so scary because I have a wonderful, healthy 2 year. I never had any issues or worries with that pregnancy. With losing this past one, all the fear came flooding in. I know it's very common to have an early loss and then a healthy pregnancy after. I just wish I could calm these nerves. I've tried talking to my husband about it and while he is such an extremely supportive man, lately he has just told me not to worry. I wish that was possible 😅

Yes, i had a early miscarriage 4 months ago. when i found out about this pregnancy (currently 8+5) all that fear set in especially about the appointment.
Once my appointment day came, i was in the same ultrasound room where i heard the bad news last time, which spiked my anxiety and then all of a sudden i heard the sweet sound of this baby’s heartbeat and a clear image of the baby on the screen.
It will be okay. Try to breathe to rough those moments of anxiety. If you are a religious person, pray through it 🙏🏽
