What do I do in this situation?

My 5mo will drink most of her bottle then gets choked up and projectile vomites. Maybe she’s drinking too fast, idk but she’s definitely never done that before now.

Is she burping on her own? Could be drinking to fast and needing to burp in the middle of a feeding. Id try and give her half her normal amount let her burp and give her the rest.

She’s burping on her own for sure but I still try to burp her just in case. She does it at daycare too they’ll call and say if she vomits 3 times then I have to come pick her up. Which is understandable but I can’t leave my job to go get her. My employers are not so understanding.

I would talk to her doctor! Call and talk to the triage nurse when they are open and they should help!

What formula is she on? She could be developing an intolerance to something in it.

Similac total comfort

Have you tried switching? Keep in mind it can take 2 weeks for the old formula to leave her system

she’s been on enfamil(yellow can) then switched to the purple can. Those were making her poops solid and hard to push out So we switched to similac sensitive that messed up her belly like she was fussy and wouldn’t take it then similac total comfort now it just seems like she can’t keep it down.

How many oz is she taking? It could be that or possibly developing acid reflux? We see that a lot at the clinic I work at. I work in peds, if you have any questions!

5oz in the morning then 2oz to 3oz here and there. I don’t want to seem like I’m starving my kid, it’s just I don’t want her drink 5oz throughout the day then throw it back up.

5 in the mornings not bad. I don’t think you’re starving your kiddo. 2-3 isn’t bad isn’t bad throughout the day. I would definitely talk to her Dr about acid reflux.
