Second time Feb '24 mums..how long was labour 2nd time?

I'm now officially a March 24 mum, currently 40+5! First baby was 40+4, and labour was about 30 hours, but about 15 of those active or so.

Not really getting any of the signs! But first time the latent stage was hours

1st labour was 10 hrs, 2nd was 6 hrs, 3rd was 4.5 hrs. Good luck when it all kicks off!

I labour fast my first was approx. 1hr30 and I gave birth to twins on the 8th Feb my labour was 47mins for both of them 🤣

First was days, second was hours! Much easier and a more positive experience second time round! X

Just gave birth to my second yesterday, a week overdue and it was half an hour from my waters breaking at 2cm to him being born! First was very very long in comparison with 3 hours of pushing aswell. Both were inductions though x

Gave birth to my second on Wednesday… labour was 2 hours after waters broke and we had him at home as no time for anything else!
Compared to my first born which was 35 hours and ended with episiotomy. Very positive and healing experience second time round )although intense!

1st was AGES! I couldn’t even tell you, second was only 5hrs and 3rd (still waiting) lol he’s past his due date xx

My first was 11 hours active labour, of which 2 hours pushing. My second was 46 minutes of which 3 minutes was pushing 🤪

Mine was roughly the same, I had a quick first birth and a quick second one. It was less pushes this time though and I bounced back physically and mentally much quicker xx

First was total 26 hours, ended with episiotomy and forceps. Gave birth to second last weds, waters went at 4:30, was 5cm by 6:30 baby born by 7:30! Did tear so had stitches but was offered to go home same night after 4 hours recovery x

I was induced both times but from waters breaking first was 26 hours and ended in episiotomy and forceps, second was 5 hours to be fully dilated and about 4 pushes/10 mins to get her out with a small tear! X
