I have so many playlists, so I'm gonna see what kinda mood I'm in when I'm in there lol, but I'll probably aim for things like disney 😅😅

Warning of don't let your partner have a choice unless you trust them completely to not mess it up . I have suggested this to my partner a few times and each time he trys to slip in make a man out of you from Mulan into the playlist. We are having a girl. He thinks it's the funniest thing in the world .

If I left it to my partner it would all be purely heavy metal music 🤣 I said over my dead body 🤣

I’ve made one of love songs I like, and things like Ed Sheeran and Elton John, hoping it relaxes me 😂 but no idea if this is right/what I’ll want in the moment!

I had playlists ready but in the moment every noise was annoying for me so I ended up without music. I had a very long vaginal birth though so I may have felt differently going into a planned C-section. X

There’s a few playlists on Spotify if you search for a birth playlist, this may give you ideas. I’m doing hypnobirthing so I’ve added like spa/meditation music

I used the ‘on repeat’ playlist on Spotify… all my favourite songs and now they’re so much more special! X

I don't pay for Spotify so I have visions of her being born to the 'upgrade to premium' advert😂

Is it a common thing to have a playlist ready for a planned c-section? It's not been mentioned to me, just wondering whether to prepare one in case I am allowed to play music xx

@Courtney I think most hospitals will allow you to, as long as you provide it and its not too loud! My midwife asked me at my last appointment if I had one ready, though I prefer comfort films lol

I’ve got a drum and bass playlist for oxytocin boosting early labour. Then more calming and relaxing music for established labour / pushing 🤣
