I was so nervous for mine that I actually realised I held the biggest breath ever until I got to know everything was okay! Whether itโ€™s the first baby like mine or second like yours, itโ€™s a very daunting scan! I hope everything goes well for you โ™ฅ๏ธโ™ฅ๏ธโ™ฅ๏ธ

I cried the morning of mine over stupid stuff but in hindsight it was just feeling overwhelmed about the scan. It's such a relief afterwards when you find out everything's ok xxx

Movements

How are people with no obvious โ€˜patternโ€™ monitoring baby movements?

My babies movements vary so much day to day, there is no pattern I can see whatsoever.

For example, over the weekend i felt him a few times during the day but nothing crazy, Monday & Tuesday he was wild in there and I felt movement on and off all day, today back to a few times.

When it varies this much I have no idea how Iโ€™m supposed to work out what is โ€˜normalโ€™ and when to be worried!!!

Midwife visits

how many PP midwife visits have you had and at what point??
Iโ€™m 3 weeks PP tomorrow, had a midwife come out on day 1 and then day 5 and got told at the day 5 visit that a midwife would come out again once baby has reached birth weight so that we could be discharged, yet sheโ€™s been back to birth weight for a week and weโ€™ve heard nothing from midwifeโ€™s. all contact now seems to be only from a health visitor but sheโ€™s not coming back until another 3 weeks.
Should we have had another midwife visit post day 5, or have atleast heard from them during this timeโ€ฆ? 15 days no contact at all makes me assume i wonโ€™t?

TMI: No judgement please but do you think I should go to a hospital tonight or Iโ€™ll be fine til my appointment next week?

A gush of brownish red blood came out, like it squirted out while I was standing. Iโ€™ve been cramping the past few days, Iโ€™m supposed to be around 7 weeks pregnant but at the last appointment doctor couldnโ€™t really tell even with the vaginal ultrasound..there was a faint heart beat but Iโ€™m kinda worried Iโ€™m miscarrying

Holidays without baby - Has anyone left there babyโ€™s under one for a few days/week?

Iโ€™m currently pregnant and me & my partner have booked a 4 night break away to Greece next may. Our baby will be 9/10 months old. We are leaving him with my parents.

Iโ€™ve had a couple comments from people saying I should not of done this. I donโ€™t no how I am going to feel after having a baby ect ect. I feel I will be fine as he will be 9/10 months.

Has anyone left there babyโ€™s under one for a few days/week?

Planned caesarian section success stories

Hi all! Has anyone had a planned c-section? Starting to think thatโ€™s my best and safest option as my babs is measuring quite big and Iโ€™m on the smaller side (logistically I donโ€™t think a natural birth will work out for me ๐Ÿ˜…). Heard good things about planned sections, I know emergency sections are different but any first hand experience would be informative!
